Recipe: Chilly PrawnsFebruary 1, 2014
Prawns- 250 gms (about 10-12 pieces)
Onions- 2 (chopped)
Garlic- 8-10 cloves (finely chopped)
Green Chilly- 1 (chopped)
Dried red chillies- 3
Soya Sauce- 3-4 table spoons
Tomato ketchup- 3-4 table spoons
Salt (to taste)
Marinate the prawns with some soya sauce, corn flour and a pinch of salt.
Shallow fry them and keep aside.
Meanwhile, make a fine paste of a tomato and three dried red chillies.
In a wok, heat some oil and add chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped green chillies and sliced/chopped capsicum
Add the paste of tomato and dried chilly.
Add a little tomato ketchup and some soya sauce.
Add salt, as per taste.
Add the fried prawns.
Toss them together. Cook on low flame
Add some water (as per requirement depending on how thick you want your gravy. Adjust the salt accordingly)
Mix a teaspoonful of corn flour with a little water and add to the gravy. The gravy will thicken.
Increase the heat and bring to a boil.
Serve with hot rice.
