As I sit to write the editorial of this issue, quite a few things are going in my mind. The primary being the Helicopter Crash on April 19th that killed 17 people injuring 6 others. In that crash, we lost a Rakesh Barua (aka Anupam Barua). He was a great bassist and inspiration to many musicians of the region. His death has left a void in the music industry of Northeast that cannot be filled for a long time to come.

While the memories of crash was still fresh, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Dorjee Khandu along with a few others went missing after flying from Tawang. The Arunachal Pradesh Govt. has been raising their doubts on the maintenance of Pawan Hans Helicopter Services. Now, that the Honourable Minister went missing, centre might take some notice of the issue. An accident has been doubted in this case, but other factors like hijacking can also be possible. There has been some confusion regarding the issue showing lack of coordination between the state and central rescue teams. All of us are waiting for some news regarding this matter. As ordinary citizens, we can only pray for the well being of the Honourable Minister.

Hope that the state and central govt. work in more coordination for rescuing Mr. Khandu and he returns home safely.
